0:50.2	I've always found it quite humorous when alcoholics are asked to talk about God, although
0:59.0	it's somewhat appropriate because we've gone through life thinking we're God, so I guess
1:03.5	it's the only natural we talk about God.
1:05.6	But they asked Thomas Merton one time talk about God, and he said something that I completely agree with.
1:11.8	He said that when asked about God, silence makes more sense than words.
1:18.1	Yet words are all we have to work with here yet this evening.
1:26.0	And no longer I'm sober,
1:29.7	we were talking,
1:31.2	Bart and I were talking last night.
1:33.0	See, I don't understand God.
1:34.7	I know God,
1:36.8	but I do not understand God.
