My name is Chris.

I'm an alcoholic.

This Friday, it's February 5, 1987, and my home group is the West Portland group.

And I'm glad to do this.

I thank Todd for asking me to do this.

Anytime I can get out and share my experience with the idea that it may help somebody else,

whether it does or not, it enlarges my spiritual life and I get help.

So I'm very grateful for the opportunity.

And frankly, I had a really stressful week at work, and when I got the call,

it was, I mean, I was more than happy to come down here and do it.

I mean, it was a real blessing, and he called right in the middle of it.

But an interesting thing on his call is when he called me he said that he had called the poly

and polly had given my name and it also given Don name and recommended both of us for down

here and I talked to Don probably maybe once every couple, two, three months or so,

and I see him every so often.

But this week he called me twice.

And both times I thought it was odd that he was calling me,
