One thing you need to be aware of with these workshops, it's a bit like a brand tab.

You never know exactly when you stick your hand in what you're going to get out.

Now if you come in August, you'll get someone I think with a PhD who's written a book

and he's a fellow of this and a director of that.

I'm not of those things I haven't written a book, I've got PhD, I'm not a fellow of this

or a director of that.

So feel free to leave now and wait for the real experts to come along in August.

My only qualification for being here is being an alcoholic who's been in AA for 29 years.

And what we're going to be talking about or what I'm going to be talking about is the

traditions in relationships.

Clancy always tells the story about the moment that a sponsor's heart sinks to where your

sponsor phones you up and says, I'm in a relationship, I need some advice.

If you've ever sponsored people, your heart will have sunk at that point as well for lots

of different reasons.

Now the big book has got plenty of material on relationships, but the traditions are

an excellent guide for relationships.
