Summary

Join Samantha and Deb as they discuss shadow work.  Are there parts of you that you don't like about yourself?  Do you find yourself jumping to anger every time you're around your mother-in-law?  Does your boss make you feel incompetent?  Do you tend to judge others who think differently than you do?  When you take some time to examine what makes you angry in others, you will start to see parts of your shadow side that need to be recognized, forgiven and loved.  Carl Jung defined the shadow self as unconscious aspects of the personality that the ego doesn't want to identify with.  But he taught that once we can learn to recognize these unloved parts of ourselves, we can truly begin to heal and become awakened to truth.  "Everyone carries a shadow," Jung wrote, "and the less it is embodied in the individual's conscious life, the blacker and denser it is."  After this hour, you will learn to bring light to the shadow side and welcome in unconditional self-love so that you truly can Be The Light.
