I was working at a blockbuster at what they called a game rush and I was smoking way too much pot and just basically driving my bronco around my shitty little Texas town.

High school to me was trying to not go home,

never go home.

My father and I never really got along and my step-mom and I never got

along and it was still I lived there until I was like 17. From like seventh grade to 12th grade I was adopted by other families

and then I would go home as late as possible. I had always been threatened with me and kicked out, but I remember

it was like six in the morning or something. I was like slinking back in from somebody's house that

I had crashed on their couch and I wanted to be gone in the morning so they didn't realize that I was mooching off of them as much as I was and my dad was leaving for work at that moment and he said he just said to me what the fuck are you doing here?

And I remember thinking, what am I doing here?
