I'm Erica. I'm Erica. I'm at work, and this is my new podcast, which is also called work.

You may have listened to my last podcast, which was called Token CEO from when I was the CEO of Barstall Sports,

I have a brand spanking new job. And what I wanted to do was to create a podcast that is for

people who want to be better at work and want to make work a way to change and make their life

great. So we'll talk about a whole bunch of things. We'll talk

about mess-ups. We'll talk about failure. We'll talk about success. We'll talk about words that nobody

knows what they mean, like EBITDA. I think most people don't understand what it means, but somehow

are like, I think that means margin. So EBITDA stands for earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.

So we have brought George Wells. George Wells created the Wells Group. We brought George in because

the CFO of Barstall Sports had left, and we needed a pro, and we were staring down the pen acquisition. And how was that

experience for you? I would say it was one of the life-defining stints of my career. It was

exciting. It was exhilarating. It was sort of like an episode of succession. And I lived for that.

And it was also so important that we, we had just to set some context. So

I'm going to use the word work a thousand times in this thing because I love to work and I love

to think about work and be at work and help people at work and talk about work. We're going to

cover a whole bunch of topics all related to work and all related to how you feel about work and how you can make the most of work.
