Hello, this is Work Like a Woman. I'm Mary Portauss and we are back. And if you're wondering, why

0:05.5

we're back? Because we are still inundated with stories which really quite frankly show that the

0:12.5

world of work when it comes to women is still biased. I work for a large retailer. I go back to

0:19.8

work this week following a nine-month maternity leave and I'm terrified.

1:15.6

That is another woman misunderstanding a woman.

1:19.6

Humiliatingly putting them into that position is going to make it better.

1:24.6

It's just horrific.

1:29.9

One more. And this is from a man.

1:36.4

I've been at my company for 12 years without promotion, was recently told to me,

1:42.6

matter of factly actually, by my boss. Well, someone either has to leave or die for you to get promotion.
