Let's start with the big NBA news of the day.

As we have been wondering, since they won the title a couple of weeks ago, what the future of the Oklahoma City Thunder would look like.

And that became a little more clear today as they have agreed to a fully guaranteed

five-year maximum rookie contract extension that could reach $250 million with their young

stud big man, Chet Holmgren.

That's a big turnaround from after like game four of the finals, people thought it's kind of trash.

Can't do anything.

They're attacking him every play.

Yeah.

He's not physical enough to hang with Miles Turner or any kind of real big and then yeah how about we just

hand them potentially $250 million it's a nice little trick where I guess you feel confident

as an organization that you've hit on Holmgren you've hit on J-W you've hit on SGA they've got a core you look at the rest of the guys on

their bench um for the most part most of the guys and you say we can probably just draft and

develop guys about this good so whenever they have to reshuffle the deck on some of those

lesser stars those third tier guys they'll all just be gone, I would imagine.

And they'll just redraft and continue with this core.

It just didn't make sense to me when people were wondering that what are they going to do with Chet?

Of course they're going to sign him.

The upside for Chet Holmgren is

massive moving forward, especially on a team like that. There's no way I would have let him go.
