So, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. And let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

I want to pray this evening for my grandson, Kormak, who has been struggling with some seizure-like symptoms, and the doctors aren't really

sure what's going on, so we pray for a resolution, a good resolution to that problem, and also for a little two-year-old

Henry who has suffered very serious burns.

We pray for Henry's recovery,

as well as we continue to pray

for the healing of Olivia Canili

and Little Thomas Lauer recovering

from cancer of the stomach.

So let's pause for a moment

and you can call it to mind your own intentions.

We continue today to meditate on the teaching of Jesus in the sermon on the mount in

Matthew chapter 5 verse 33 where Jesus begins by reminding us of the Eighth Commandment.

Do you know what the Eighth Commandment is?

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

But then he goes on to warn us against the sin of lying when he says,

all you need to say is yes if you mean yes, no if you mean no.

Anything more than this comes from the evil one.
