588. What? I started this show on March 2nd, 2014. Wow. So we are

almost looking at the 12-year mark. That's bananas. Can't believe it. So who do we have on deck this week?

Well, I had the opportunity to speak with Dr. Nicole Nareg.

She is a clinical and research psychologist and someone who is very passionate about textile crafts, especially knitting.

So she wrote this great book called With Her Own Hands, Women Weaving Their Stories. Without any further ado,

Thanks. It's a privilege to be here. I'm excited to talk about your new book. Is this your first book? This is, yeah.

Ooh, that's so exciting. So, okay, it's called With Her Own Hands, Women Weaving Their Stories.

And so you are a psychologist, both clinical and research. I'd say most, well, maybe that's not

true, actually, because a lot of clinical

psychologists have sidees and they, do you have to do research to get a sci-D?

I think it's a much smaller research project. It's not the level of dissertation required for

a PhD. So it can be, you know, sometimes it's maybe more of a case study or a lit review
