0:54.0	As a professing Christian, she believed that the Bible and Christianity itself needed to be

1:05.0	leading her to eventually write the women's Bible,
1:08.0	an alternative and controversial work attempting to reinterpret the Bible's message. Foundations have arisen to free
1:16.0	people from the bondage of religion and specifically women. Stanton gave her life
1:20.7	to reinterpret and redefine Christianity and the Bible so that women could live free within the religion.
1:27.0	And today all you have to do is look at social media, Hollywood, or the political arena to realize that certain religious beliefs are held responsible
1:35.3	for the oppression of women stripping them of their rights.
