Now, I enjoy cycling and I was lucky enough to learn how to ride as a child. And over the years,

I've really loved getting out on my old bike. I suppose enjoying the freedom that you get

from being on two wheels.

But statistically, women are much less likely to cycle than men. And many girls appear to

abandon cycling completely by the time they hit their teenage years. Well, a group in Glasgow

called Women on Wheels want to change all that.

I popped along to speak to Shigufta Anwar and Holly Barwick about what they're doing to promote

cycling and startively asking Shogofta about her fascinating journey as a cycling campaigner.

There's a group of us and we've been kind of working together in a voluntary and paid capacity

for probably best part of a decade.

And we started off in a Muslim women's charity about eight or nine years ago and it was a

climate change project and part of that was sustainable transport and we set up a cycling club
