0:22.4	This week, it's an episode that premiered in December of 2012, but before we start, when I
0:29.3	re-listened to the first story on this episode called Fuck or Fight by Melanie Hamlet, I was
0:36.5	immediately hit by the feeling that Melanie probably has
0:41.1	many more thoughts and feelings about that story from this vantage point in 2024. If you
0:48.9	don't know, since she told this story, Melanie has become a feminist author and TikToker, and she's always learning and
0:59.8	growing with that. It's very inspiring to watch her journey. The story fuck or fight has a context
1:07.6	around it that I would describe as date rape culture, basically.
1:12.4	And I'll bet that Melanie would tell this story differently from an older and wiser perspective

1:22.0	So I reached out to Melanie and asked if she'd like to listen to the story with me and record a conversation
