Hello everybody, it's Oliver G here, the host of the Eiffel Tower podcast, and it is a very wet and

rainy Monday in Paris, which maybe doesn't mean anything for you, but it's bad news for me because

I'm about to leave this studio and do a live walk show on the left bank in the rain. But hey, it's

live. That's what happens. We're going to have some fun. But today's guest, I'm going to introduce in a

second, Heidi Evans. But first, I want to say a shout out to all. I think this week maybe broke a record

for the number of listeners that I've met in Paris. A big shout out to Maria and to Lynn, who I did

a tour with. And also a shout out to Dinka, who, well, who stopped me and Lina in the street when we're with

our red scooter and said she listens every single day while cycling in the Netherlands, which

was one of the most Dutch things I've ever heard.

But let's talk about today's guest, Heidi Evans, who, after living in Paris for a few years

and working as a tour guide, realized there was a gaping hole in the tour guide industry.

Everybody seemed to be talking about just the famous men from France's history, and she decided

to rectify that.

She's about to tell her story.
