Academic and DJ Oliver Wang back from his assignment in Paris.

You really class it up for what was essentially a family vacation.

Have you destabilize the EU economy?

I think they're doing a pretty good job of it themselves to be quite honest, but it was great, yeah.

How was Paris?

I'm lovely.

I mean, we went in August not really fully realizing how many places would be closed because they were on vacation.

But it wasn't a huge deal. It probably helped me save money because I wasn't closed shopping half the time.

But never having been out there before, just on a physical urban city planning level

it's just well being in a city where all the buildings are the same uniform height and

you have this kind of golden ratio between width and height at all times and you come back to LA and again I love Los Angeles but

LA never had sort of an imperial edict to have a design from you know

remade by a single mine there and housemen, a Jew.

Oliver, is there any piece of French culture that you really delighted in while you were there?

I don't know, food seems like a really really cheap easy way to go about it. I mean one of the my

favorite places we went was the Pier Lachee Cemetery which I thought was as

far as Cemetery ago, best cemetery I've ever been to.

It was amazing.
