| 1:03.4 | And you guys have heard me talk about this for a long time. It's one of the reasons I decided to run for Congress |
| 1:08.4 | because the federal government is responsible to secure our southern borders to make sure that the military is funded. |
| 1:14.4 | And we don't understand the proper jurisdiction of the federal government anymore. It's one of the reasons why we are in so much trouble. |
| 1:20.4 | And so I asked my brother-in-law if he would come on the show and just talk about sort of the state of our military where we came from, where we're going. |
| 1:28.4 | And he's agreed to come back today. We're tiptoeing Ryan around some of these conversations that are they're hard to have because the culture is on its head right now. |
| 1:39.4 | The world seems to have shifted on its axis. But the reality is basic truth, you know, male and female biology matters. All these things matter. |
| 1:50.4 | And we got to start telling the truth. Yesterday I read to you a little bit from an article that I found in the National Review, which I thought was excellent. |
| 1:58.4 | Basically talking about the problems with the woke military. This is a great place for us to start this conversation again about women in the military. |
| 2:05.4 | Because he went on to say, believe in that the army should be and has been the best example of meritocracy in the history of the world has become a forbidden position. |
| 2:16.4 | The only acceptable position is now full acceptance of all elements of diversity, equity and inclusion. Examples abound from the more benign recent recruiting messages depicting cartoon stories, one of an activist soldier. |
| 2:29.4 | All the way to creating a new DEI infrastructure to push policies in line with critical race theory. |
| 2:36.4 | I am no longer allowed to openly hold the position that war fighting and combat readiness should be the army's top priority while being force fed a radical DEI agenda demonstrates the open erosion of the mission first principles of the military. |
