Lynn H. Cohick earned her PhD in NT and Christian Origins from the University of Pennsylvania. She is distinguished professor of NT at Houston Christian University, and director of the Houston Theological Seminary. She has written commentaries on Ephesians and Philippians, and books on women in the NT, including Christian Women in the Patristic World and Women in the World of the Earliest Christians.
