I'm Amy Slashberg and I'm Megan Sachs.

My co-host and I are both criminologists and have spent our entire career studying and teaching

about crime. We both have firsthand experience working with offenders and professionals in the

criminal justice system. Each episode you'll hear a new, female-focused case or topic,

deconstructed by experts. We'll cover cases involving females as offenders and as victims,

but more often than not, these two are one and the same. We also highlight the heroines of our

criminal justice system, such as Kathleen Zellner, Sheila Wasaki, and Barbara Rae Vendor,

and interview subjects of famous cases including Denise Huskins and Lorraine Abobbit.
