A woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for her role in the murders of three tourists during a carjacking in Mexico.

23-year-old Ari Gissel Silva pleaded guilty to instigating the assault on the Australian brothers Jack and Callum Robinson and their American friend Carter Road.

The three men were on a camping and surfing trip along a stretch of coast south of the city of Ensenada before disappearing April 27, 2024. The surfers were robbed and shot and their bodies were then dumped in a remote well where investigators eventually found them days later.

Silva apparently expressed interest in the tires on the men's car and told her then boyfriend, Jesus Gerardo, to bring her a good phone and good tires for her truck. Prosecutors say Jesus Gerardo and two other men tailed the vehicle to the campside where the men were staying and then robbed them before shooting them dead. All three men were arrested and charged with murder and remain in custody awaiting trial. There's more on this story at Fox News.com
