Judge Righteously
Deuteronomy 1:16:
15 So I took the leading men of your tribes, wise and respected men, and appointed them to have authority over you—as commanders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens and as tribal officials. 16 And I charged your judges at that time, “Hear the disputes between your people and judge fairly, whether the case is between two Israelites or between an Israelite and a foreigner residing among you. 17 Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of anyone, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it.” 18 And at that time I told you everything you were to do.
Leviticus 19:15:
15 “‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.
Proverbs 31:9:
9 Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.
1 Corinthians 6:2–3:
2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? 3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
John 7:24:
21 Jesus said to them, “I did one miracle, and you are all amazed. 22 Yet, because Moses gave you circumcision (though actually it did not come from Moses, but from the patriarchs), you circumcise a boy on the Sabbath. 23 Now if a boy can be circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry with me for healing a man’s whole body on the Sabbath? 24 Stop judging by mere appearances, but instead judge correctly.”
Remember!
We Must Judge Using Biblical Standards: Judgment must be based on God's revealed Word and will, rather than personal feelings or man-made rules.
Regard No One In The Flesh: Following God's example in 1 Samuel 16:7, righteous judgment looks past outward appearance to the true nature of a person or situation.
2 Corinthians 5:16-1716 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come:[a] The old has gone, the new is here!
We Should Avoid Hypocrisy: Before addressing someone else's fault, believers must first examine and correct their own lives (the "log in your own eye" from Matthew 7:1–5).
We Are Christ's Ambassadors and We Must Aim for Restoration: The goal of identifying sin in a fellow believer is to "restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness" (Galatians 6:1).

| 0:00.0 | A lot of celebrities have recently come out to say they're Christian. We Christians have |
| 0:04.8 | responsibility, A, to say, praise God, God is working. Praise you, Jesus, for being in Hollywood |
| 0:10.5 | and in Nashville, songwriting circles, entertainment circles. Praise you, God. We also have a responsibility |
| 0:17.5 | to be wise judges, merciful judges. We can't judge their eternity. That's God's job, |
| 0:24.6 | but these people have huge audiences, huge footprints, and they can convince a lot of people to look |
| 0:31.6 | into Jesus. Maybe God can show his face through them if he chooses he can. But we Christians have a responsibility to make sure that we are checking the spirits of what they say |
| 0:43.9 | because of their ability to reach others. |
| 0:46.7 | The purpose of this video is not to throw shade. |
| 0:49.7 | It's not to make fun of people. |
| 0:51.8 | It's not to pretend to be the eternal judge. Only God gets to do that. |
| 0:56.1 | It is to create a framework that we can use to check all spirits. So as we're talking with friends |
| 1:03.2 | and family and particularly young people, we can help them see things for the way they are. |
| 1:08.8 | This is the one big show version of the Todd Herman show. We're |
| 1:12.4 | going to talk about this with the help of God Almighty. The Todd Herman show is 100% disapproved |
| 1:19.8 | by big pharma technocrats and tyrants everywhere. From the high mountains of free America, here's the Emerald City exile. |
| 1:34.9 | Todd Herman. |
| 1:43.7 | Today is the day the Lord has made, and these are the times to which God has decided we shall live. |
| 1:50.0 | So we have a responsibility. The responsibility is to check all spirits. And in fact, we are told to judge. |
| 1:58.1 | I know we're not really comfortable with that. A lot of people will say, do not judge |
| 2:02.3 | lest you be judged. We can also read that as judge fairly unless you want to be judged unfairly. |
| 2:08.4 | So obviously we'll apply scripture to this, but let's start with the good news that a ton of |
| 2:12.5 | celebrities are coming out and talking about being Christian. Look at this. I did. Well, I mean, |
