Hello everybody and welcome once again to The View from the Lane, the Tottenham-Motsberg podcast from The Athletic.

I'm Danny Kelly and I'm joining the podcast today by James Moore and Charlie Eccleshare.

I suppose once again we should be playing slightly funereal music in the background,

but I suppose as always we have to try and strikeereal music in the background, but I suppose

as always we have to try and strike some kind of balance so we don't just become therapy for

our millions of listeners. James, I want to start with you because normally I start with getting

the sensible level view from Charlie, but in this time I want to hear from a Spurs fan. You were there. What did you make

this performance against Wolves? I mean, it was pretty, pretty bad. I mean, as bad as I can

really remember in a home game for, I mean, discounting the ones against the kind of top sides,

which, you know, we saw a couple of this season that I lost three-nil, and those are both pretty painful, to play like that and to be beaten as comprehensively by a team, you know, obviously very, very good team wolves, but I think you'd have them done as a team spurs. You'd be aiming to beat, and to lose like that was, I'd say, pretty disheartening.

Off the back of that Southampton game,

and for so many of the problems that we saw on Wednesday night

to be kind of recurring themed again on Sunday,

incredibly frustrating.

Yeah, I mean, just statistically they,

I'm sure some already know this,

they haven't been two goals down at home in the first 20 minutes for, since rather,

1998.

So it was just the most impossibly bad start from which they never recovered.

The manager, I'll come on to how bad I thought it was in a second, but Charlie, the

manager had made a few changes.
