Well, I'm just delighted to be here. The first word I got of this a few months ago, I said, that's a marvelous idea to talk about

the Nicene Creed, the year of its anniversary, as a way of establishing a deeper dialogue between the East and West.

We met a few years ago, and we had dinner here at Victoria's

And he gave me a beautiful gift of an icon,

And a gentleman who is a, you know, well-respected member of our parish community, I think he was a

teacher in our catechetical program, came up to me and said, I got a question for you. I always

wondered, you know, the creed we recite every Sunday and we say, God from God, light from light, true God, from

true God, begotten, not made.

And I said, yes, it means everything.
