Well, thank you, John. Good evening to everybody.

It really warms my heart to see all of you here tonight.

I mean that.

As John said, I think of you as family,

the members of the Word on Fire Institute,

even though we're thousands of miles away from each other,

it's just marvelous to think that you know a

sermon I give or a podcast or whatever comes all the way over here and and moves into

your minds and hearts and the forming a family, forming a community of the word on fire

members. That's what it's all about. Honest to God, one of the great highlights is seeing

and meeting all of you because that's the means by which

we're going to carry the word on fire ethos, I hope, into this country.

Hey I just want to share with you a couple of simple ideas.

I know you've all been following me over the year so maybe this is not very new to you, but I worked up a little presentation here on some of the principles that undergird my work and inform the work that I do.

And that's really word on fire principles.

I hope you would also take in as you do your evangelizing work.

That's the purpose of the Word on Fire Institute

is to form an army of on the ground evangelists

who can move, you know, as Vatican II envisioned into the various expressions of the secular culture.
