Welcome back to The Word on Fire Show. I'm Brandon Vaat, the host and the senior publishing

director at Word on Fire. Today we share with you Bishop Aaron's keynote talk at the

2023 Wonder Conference held in Dallas and hosted by Word on Fire. That conference was

centered around the harmony between faith and science. And in Bishop Aaron's talk,

explored three philosophical paths beyond scientism. Scientism is something we've discussed

often here on the podcast. It's the view that authentic truth claims can only be made in regard

to those matters treatable through the scientific method. And scientism is something that Bishop

Aaron and the Catholic tradition strenuously stand against. So Bishop Aaron offers three ways to

help people escape scientism. Before we get to his talk, though, I want to announce to you a new
