Welcome back to the Word on Fire Show. I'm Brandon Vott, the host and Bishop Baron

is not with us this week. If you heard last week's episode, you learned that we're kind

of shifting our release schedule here on the Word on Fire Show. Instead of having a discussion

podcast every week, we're now going to have one every two weeks. So that'll relieve a little

bit of the stress from Bishop Baron and myself. But in the intervening weeks, we're going

to share audio samples from a lot of our Word on Fire Institute courses, Bishop Baron's

study programs, recent talks and lectures Bishop Baron has given. So there'll still be

a huge amount of Word on Fire content coming your way. Today, we share a sample lesson

from a brand new course that just launched in the Word on Fire Institute today. Today's

the debut. The course is titled Science for Evangelists. And it's taught by one of our

Word on Fire Institute fellows, Dr. Stacey Trasenko's. This first lesson is titled Science

was born of Christianity. And in it, Stacey explains how science and Christianity are

not enemies, but that Christianity helped science to get off the ground to develop beyond

the limits imposed on it by ancient cosmologies. Stacey also introduces evangelists to the basics

of science and helps to burst this science versus Christianity myth. So if you've ever

had problems discussing science, if you know loved ones who have left the church because

of science, I think you're really going to enjoy this lesson. But again, it's just sample

lesson one. There are several more lessons in this course. And if you'd like to receive
