Summary

(Revelation 9:1-21; 11:13-19) The word "woe" is a warning that God reserves for the most severe judgment. Listen to the last three trumpets and you will hear the awful sound of judgment on sin and the continued victory of Christ. The Revelation brings woe to this world and worship to God. In uncertain days, it is important to remember that our world is getting ready to meet God.

Today, we join Scott Pauli in walking through the final book of the Bible, The Revelation,

0:21.6

the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

0:23.6

Chain reactions are an amazing thing to watch because each step, each part then sets in motion automatically the next.

0:44.3

It's like lining up a whole row of dominoes, knocking the first one down and then watching the chain reaction.

0:50.3

And this is no gain.

0:59.4

This is not some light, flippant thing.

1:01.8

This is extremely serious because God is dealing in sequence with sinners, with Satan, with a sin-cursed world in one judgment after another, after

1:13.4

another, after another. We are in Revelation chapter 8 looking at what is referred to as the

1:19.6

trumpet judgments. You'll remember first there were seven seal judgments. Now we're in the midst

1:24.6

of the seven trumpet judgments that follow it. And just like the

1:28.6

sealed judgments, they're divided into four and then three. So there's a break between the two. We've

1:34.8

studied the first four in Revelation chapter eight. And when you come to verse number 13 of

1:38.8

Revelation 8, this is what you read. And I beheld and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud

1:46.3

voice, whoa, whoa, whoa, to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet

1:53.8

of the three angels which are yet to sound. And by the way, if you're looking at your Bible,

1:58.7

in Revelation 813, the end of the verse has an exclamation point on it.

2:03.0

This is not some casual, light, flippant thing.
