The Sports Gossip Show officially turns one today, so Madeline and Charlotte get a little sentimental looking back at a crazy 12 months since they started this show in Charlotte’s apartment. Thank you so much to everyone who’s listened, watched, and subscribed, to The Athletic for bringing SGS on board, and to the husbands of the show — the gals couldn’t have done it without any of you. 

Then, The Athletic’s own women’s basketball expert Ben Pickman comes on the show to update everybody on the WNBA Playoffs. They talk about how Ben thinks the Aces will go all the way, how the Fever are in it despite all the injuries (obviously including Caitlin Clark), how the Lynx blew a 20-point lead, and why the Mercury’s vibes have been so good.
