and the no panic mentality is still by veteran superstar Candace Parker.

There's a lot of belief around her she's coming home and she's also saying guys we're right there don't panic.

I think just having someone steady like that is such a game changer for teams.

So Shentill you recently wrote that we're seeing something pretty unusual in this year's WNBA Finals as the number five seed Phoenix Mercury take on the number six

the Chicago sky. Can you explain what you meant?

The playoffs people should know when the WNBA are really set up for the top seeds to do well.

Eight of the 12 teams make the playoffs and the top two seeds actually get double buys.

So they just get to walk into the semifinals. The three and four seed have a first round by and so five through eight play single elimination games.

And so when you just look at that structure and the fact that the playoffs starts so soon after the end of the regular season.

Obviously there's the rest versus rest argument, but I think that element of rest and planning really benefits as we've seen historically the top seeded teams.
