Let me start out by saying,

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas here and everywhere.

Can we give a big hand to the moms?

Amen, amen, and amen.

Happy Mother's Day.

You know that the church is built on the gospel of Jesus Christ and, quite honestly, the prayers of some loving mothers. Is that not true? And so, moms, thanks for everything. Husbands, kids, everybody associated to a mother, do whatever she wants all day and all week. I would highly encourage that. And I know moms, this is true, really of all parents. One of the things that we really want as parents,

moms, especially for you, is don't you really want your kids to represent you well in public?

I mean, that's a part of what you want from them. You don't want them to embarrass you.

You really don't. And I don't know if you've ever had them to embarrass you you really don't and uh and i don't know if

you've ever had this conversation like you go to the parent teacher conference kind of thing

and the parents has something really positive about your kid they're like now your son or daughter

they're an angel and you're like no no no we're the martins do you know the martins and they're like

not really they're great because you know how they act at home. And if you have to choose, you would rather, I mean, they could be a little devilish at home as long as they're an angel out in public.

It's just true, right?

Because you know what actually happens is they do represent who you are.

I mean, they just do.

You know, those sayings like the. I learned this in student ministry, 15 years of working with teenagers.
