Amen and amen.

If you got your Bibles, we're going to be in Matthew chapter 6.

And because of your generosity as a church, the whole, all of 1122,

and then also because of the generosity of a bunch of individuals like Greg Barnett

and a whole bunch of others in 1122,

we are able to bless people like that again because God has blessed us so much.

And we wanted to share that with you, particularly on this weekend, Memorial Day weekend, as Barb is the widow of a veteran.

We wanted to just thank you. All of you that serve,

all of you that are married to those who serve, all of you who have lost somebody that laid down

their lives for our freedom, we say thank you, thank you, thank you. And I wish, I wish we were

all here together so that we could celebrate you and

clap and cheer and stand up and and all of that but in your home right now I just like for

all of us to bow our heads and pray and just pray for all of the families of those whose loved

ones gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom our good and gracious heavenly Father

Lord we thank you for this picture of the gospel.

The greater love has no one than this, that they would lay down his life for his friends.

Jesus, we know this is what you did for us. Lord, you died for us, that we could have life, have it abundantly, have it eternally.

And God, we thank you for the American servicemen and women who have laid

down their life for our freedom. And because of their great sacrifice, we could be here this day to

celebrate you without fear, but in freedom. And so, God, for you, we give glory, and to them we say

thank you. We pray it in jesus name amen
