We're going to be in John, chapter 4, and if you got your notes, get those out. And if you're my ageing up, they will be of little value to you this week, okay?

And that's my fault. I put to me in Bible verses in there. And I've just got to confess. I'm

42 years old, and so I'm at the point right now. I, but I'm in my, I'm in my denial phase.

I think I get two years of denial before I have to, but coming to you soon, I'll be very, very

dramatic. I'll be able to go and take my, that's coming.

Blessing out the readers. All right. So the reason I want everybody get to your notes out

is I do want you to be able to write down about four things, four things I want you to write down before you leave today. So get a pen, get your notes, get

your Bible. John, Chapter 4, we are in the fifth week of this series, Unexpected Hope, and

they're face-to-face encounters with Jesus, face-to-face encounters with Jesus. And in John

chapter 4, Jesus comes face-to-face with this woman. And what happens is that what Jesus is going to do

is he's going to knock down roadblock after roadblock after roadblock that she throws up to kind of

say, hey, here's why you and I can't be face to face together. And the reason I want to walk through

it with you today is this, is that as we kind of shift gears out of Christmas and into the new year, this is one of

the best times to talk to people about our faith, and here's why, because the new year just
