Amen, that never gets old, does it? Hey, we are addicted to life change in here, not because we can change anything, but because God and he's the only one that deserves the glory that he changes lives.

That's why we show those baptism videos, because that's us. That's our story over and over and over and over. There are people that saying, I was lost, and now I'm found. I was dead, but now I'm alive. And when we show that, then we celebrate that.

Amen, church.

Hey, I've been out of town for a couple of weeks preaching the gospel at a couple of youth

camps.

One was in South Padre Island, Texas, and one was in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

And nobody needs Jesus more than Texas and South Carolina.

You know what I'm saying? But now, there's no other place I would rather be than right here at our church, the Church of 1122, this morning to be preaching to you.

So it's good to be back. Nothing says love like spattering applause for me to be back. So I knew that

was going to happen. If you got your Bibles, open them to Ephesians. We are in, I don't know, week four of this series called Love Incorruptible. It's a study

through the book of Ephesians. We're trying to cover a lot of material in a short amount of time

because I want you to be able to palm the book of Ephesians. That's what I want you to be able to do.

So you're going to be able to look at all of chapter three and the first half of chapter four and just understand that that is about the church.

So the first half of the book of Ephesians is the gospel.

The second half, the implications of the gospel.

And so today we're going to get into the implications of the gospel in your life.

And the gospel has implications on your individual role in the greater church.

And so that's what we're going to talk about. I do want to ask you a question, a rhetorical one, don't answer me, okay? What do you think of when you think church?

Like when you think church, what pops into your mind? And I bet, and I bet if you were to ask

Jacksonville, if you were asked our city, what do you think of when you think church?

They would say things like a building, which is really a shame. That's not what the word originally meant.

Or judgmental, close-minded.
