As I watch that, especially in light of what it means where Isaiah

prophesized that unto us a child would be born and he would be a wonderful counselor, okay,

mighty God, God, an everlasting father, prince of peace. What do you do when you don't have peace?

I watched that video and it just made me think, what did it cost you to follow Jesus?

What did it cost you to follow Jesus?

For Amanda, it cost her everything, everything.

She looked at the face of her family. She looked at the face of her family.

She looked at the face of Jesus, and she said, I will follow Jesus.

I got to be honest.

You know what it cost me?

Not much.

A couple of dates in college with some cuties that were trying to kill, steal, and destroy me.

Oh, you knew them.

Yeah.

I mean, honestly, I follow Jesus.

Things, you know, my decisions got better, my friends got better.

It cost me some pain, some scars that I did not have to go through.

And yet there are people in this room in Bay Meadows and the
