Amen. How's everybody doing? Good. If you've got your Bible and I hope you do, grab it, go to Acts

Chapter 16. Acts chapter 16. If you are new to Bible study, there is no shame in looking at the

table of contents and finding Acts chapter 16. If you stumble upon it,

then please mark it. We will be there often. And so we've got a Bible in the seat back in front of you

if you want to grab one of those. And that's our gift to you. If you don't own your very

own Bible, then please take that. It's not stealing. It's a gift. You can have it. We are in week

four of this series called master plan. And the whole

idea has been that there is a plan and we have a master and you're not the master. And so we've all

throughout this series, we've asked the question, at what point did you figure it out that you

weren't really in control? And maybe you figured it out through your parents. Maybe you figured it out because you tried your plan and that's why you're here tonight

because your plan didn't work. And maybe your plan led you into the ditch or maybe your plan

led you into everything that was on your plan. And you achieved all your hopes and dreams and goals

and found that that was pretty empty and there must be more. And so here you are at church,

seeing if there's maybe a greater plan and a bigger plan for you. Well, the good news of the gospel

is that there is a plan and there is a master and you are not the master. Praise God. And so week one,

we talked about what happens when God says no. When God says no. And oftentimes his no is this preparation for a future go.

And then the second week of the series, we talked about how God saved Lydia, this business woman that sold purple goods.

And God used her to plant this church about how God saves us.

That we do not earn a right standing before God,

but God does all the work.

God is the one that saves us.
