We're supposed to pick it up in John Chapter 14.

We're going to continue from where we left off last week, but just for context sake, I need to back up a little

bit so you'll understand what John 141 is all about. So we covered this last week, but if you

pick it up in 1336, Simon Peter says to Jesus, this is like at the end of the last supper.

He says, Lord, where are you going? And Jesus answered him, where I'm going, you can't follow

me now, but you will follow

me afterwards. Now you've got to remember this is the last supper. Everybody's leading in.

Everybody's paying attention to this conversation. So Jesus is saying that he's going somewhere

and that the disciples can't follow. And then Peter makes this bold claim. And Peter said,

Lord, why can't I not follow you now? I would lay down my life for you, and Jesus answered, will you lay down your life for me?
