We're going to be in Ephesians, Chapter 1.

Ephesians, Chapter 1.

We're in an eight-week series called Love Incorruptible.

Those are the last two words of the book of Ephesians.

And so we're going to walk through this in big chunks, really big chunks.

We're covering a lot more than we really should in one time together. But I want you to be able

to just take big chunks of Ephesians and kind of understand the theme of each week and then put it

all together at the end so you can understand the gospel from kind of a heavenly point of view,

the gospel from your point of view, and the implications of the gospel if you of a heavenly point of view, the gospel from your point of

view, and the implications of the gospel if you surrender your life to Jesus.

And so last week in chapter 1, verses 1 through 14, we talked about who God is and how God saves.

So this week we're going to talk about how you are and who you are and what you and I are like,

and then what the gospel is when it intersects

and interrupts our individual personal lives. And so I'm going to pick it up in chapter one,

verse 15. This is right where we left off last week. And Paul, the writer of Ephesian, says this,

says for this reason and this reason is the last week's sermon. Okay, so for that reason,

says God is good and God loves and God is holy and God is just, and by his richness and

mercy and grace, by his choosing us for that reason, because I have heard of your faith in the
