Amen and amen. How we do it? Church, doing good? You look great if you got your

0:08.5

Bibles. We're in Psalm 98. Go there. Today we're going to talk about worship. You see,

0:13.8

every single one of us live on a continuum between gratitude and entitlement, and everything

0:18.6

in this world pushes us over to entitlement, what I deserve,

0:23.3

what is mine, what I want, what I need. But the scriptures push us to a position of gratitude.

And it is what worship is rooted in, and this is the year of worship, and it's a really, really

0:37.3

big deal. Because

1:40.1

about singing. It really does. Now, worship is way more than singing, but it's not less than singing.

1:46.6

And we serve a God that tells us to sing. Notice this is not a request. It does not say a Psalm of

1:53.5

David. You know what? If you feel it and you kind of like the song and you're in a good mood,

1:57.3

then why don't you hum along? It's not what it says. It's a command. Part of the reason we are to sing as a church is because our Lord tells us to sing. And when you're in a good mood, then why don't you hum along? It's not what it says. It's a command. Part of the reason we are to sing as a church is because our Lord tells us to sing.
