How are we this morning?

All right, we're going to rehearse. We're going to get a little better in that. It's Christmas season. How are we doing?

Okay, good. Good. I'm excited. I love Christmas. It's one of my favorite times of the year.

There will be just every cheesy Christmas movie watched at my house this year.

My two-year-old is not old enough to really like movies,

and so now we can outvote mom. Mom is more of a serious. She likes to watch movies that aren't

annoying, which makes sense because she's an adult, and I'm barely an adult. So me and

Emery will vote for Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer every night until December, actually January.

And so we're excited. We've got this little elf thing we've got to get out. And it's not elf on

the shelf. Because elf on the shelf, creepy, okay? We've got this little, it's like a mouse elf that you

move like day by day through the calendar. Right. It's how I learned to count when I was little, and so we'll bring that out. It's awesome. It's Christmas seizing, right? You guys ready for that? Right, awesome. Hey, Acts 23 is where

you want to be in your Bibles. If you don't have a Bible, there's one in front of you, and that's our

Christmas gift to you. And next year, in January, it'll be at our New Year's gift, and then it'll be a Valentine's

gift and so on and so forth.

But that Bible in front of you is for you.

There's a table of contents in the front, and you want to find the book of Acts

and the 23rd chapter of Acts.

We're starting a new series today called Love That Sticks. And you saw a little bit of

what that looks like. We'll explain it a little more as we go along. But Love That Sticks. I want to

catch you up last week. We started Acts chapter 23 and Paul was going before the council and was getting accused, was arguing his trial.

He gets punched in the mouth.

He gets thrown back in the jail cell.
