Before we dive into the word today, I just want to discuss a new environment that we have with you.

Last week, if you were here, you heard Pastor Jobi roll out our vision for 2015, where we feel like God was leading us as a church.

And one of the primary things he talked about was our heart for you to get connected and to

take next steps in your faith journey. And so we've created a new environment to that end,

a safe place where you can come and ask questions, come and hear more about our history and our heart and our strategy

and where we feel like God's taking us and how we got to where we are.

And that environment is called Discover 1122.

These are in the seatbacks, I think, in front of you.

And you can sign up to attend that there.

next steps in your faith journey. Man, I'm really excited to be here with you today doing the week one and part

two of our Exodus series as we start walking through the law, specifically the Ten Commandments.

And I'll be honest, as I was wrestling through this when Pastor Jobi first came to me and he said,

hey, I want you to do part one of the Ten Commandments. I thought, yeah, no big deal.

Right? Everybody's at least culturally familiar with the Ten Commandments. We know in concept

what they are, though we may not know exactly what they say. We know that there is a thing
