How we're doing church? Doing good. You look great. You guys ready to go to the beach? I hope so.

We're going to do this. It's going to be awesome. It's going to mess you up. You'll cry a lot. It'd be great.

And then we'll run to the beach and celebrate life change like crazy. If you wonder why everybody's in the bathing suit or some people.

That's why, because we're going to do something awesome. If you've never been one of our beach baptisms, you should go. It's great.

Before we get there, though, we're going to study the Book of Judges.

We're beginning a brand new series.

And so grab your Bibles, turn them on, scroll to the Book of Judges,

or grab the one that's in front of you and find the Book of Judges.

It's the Seventh Book of the Bible. And the reason we've called this thing again is because it is

descriptive of not only the book of judges, but also a lot of our lives. I mean, if you're

honest, I know this is a church, no place for that kind of thing. But if you're honest,

you ever found yourself in the same place again and again and again? And you get to that place, you're like,

what am I doing here again? I promised I would never do this again. You know, you ever make

those promises to God? God, if you will just let her forgive me, make the puking stop,

forgive the bill, whatever it is, God, I promise I'll never do it again.

And yet, over and over and over, we make the same promises, we have the same regret,

we find ourselves in the same situation, and then we come back.

And some of you are on your way back.

You kind of had like you're like on a 10 year detour again trip, right?

And you were close to Jesus a long time ago, and then you took a little break, maybe college,

and now here you are. You're back. Welcome back. Well, it's kind of what the book of judges is all about. And I have a PhD in this sort of theology. You know what it's called? It was called
