This week, today, we are kicking off our Christmas series, our Advent series, called He Is.

And the big question, the big thing that we're going to be looking at and asking is, who is Jesus?

Who is he?

He is.

And we're going to do this by looking at some of the stories that come around the events of Jesus' birth.

Now, this is a little simpler.

It's not easy. It's just a little simpler whenever the story in the account centers around

Jesus explicitly, like it says the name of Jesus, or tells the events coming leading to the birth of

Jesus. But the story we're going to look at today in Luke chapter 1, if you have a Bible,

you can go ahead and get there in your notes, find this thing.

But this one's a little trickier because it doesn't actually mention the name of Jesus.

It happens before the birth of Jesus is announced, and it centers on another couple,

a couple named Zachariah and Elizabeth, and it's about the story of their birth of their son named
