2006 end-day draft goes to the Washington Wizards.

Well, finally, the ping pong balls bounced our way, number one overall for the Wizards

in the upcoming 2026 NBA draft six weeks from tomorrow night.

I want to start the show, though, with this from my guy Yale. Yale emailed me and wrote,

Kevin, you were right. Tom and people like me were wrong. The ends justified the means.

I wasn't on board with any of the tanking over the last few years.

I thought it was just more of Mayor Ted presiding over Luserville.

But congrats on number one, the team is finally worth some attention.

So I read Yale's email first before getting into my overall thoughts on what the wizard should do with number one.
