Hey everyone, welcome in to another edition of the WogePod here in Washington, D.C. with the new

general manager of the Washington Wizards, Tommy Shepard. How does that sound, Tommy? You know,

I'm kind of looking around, pinching myself a little bit today. You know, those

titles get thrown around and obviously I'm very humbled. I'm very grateful, but let's be

honest, the only title that matters is the one Toronto has. And that's really where this all starts.

Today was a great day as we announce ourselves and move forward to the NBA and to the rest of

the basketball world, what we're all about. Now we've got to go out and put action behind the words and that's what the most

exciting part is there's a lot i want to get to with you Tommy i want to start here though first

bradley beale he's eligible to sign a three-year extension on

friday 26th.

Three years, $111 million you can offer to him on Friday.

And that's your plan, right?

Absolutely.

I think the biggest thing is for people to understand that's out of respect to Bradley.

That's the first moment we can do that.

And we want to make sure he hears it from us.

Our commitment to him has never wavered.

And I want to say this, Bradley's commitment to us has never wavered.

It's been fantastic just to watch him since the season was over and how he was able to help us actively recruit to make sure

Thomas Bryan knew, hey, this is the place for you for Bradley to step in in the draft

room and look at the players that we were looking at and weigh in on things and being able to

help Mr. Leonis through this entire process and all his input.
