In life we have to ask ourselves the question, do I know the Bible or do I only know what my teachers have told me about the Bible?

This is why we do verse by verse study, right? So you can understand the text, the

Bible better. So that the teacher could then step away and you could be left alone with

the text and go, yep, I get what this means. I'm not just quoting Mike or quoting so and

so because they said such and such. So do I know better the Bible or what various teachers have

said about the Bible? That's a good question.

And tonight's passage is pretty important. We're going to start in Romans

328. This passage refutes almost every

unbiblical gospel in plain words.

So there are certain commonalities

when people come up with false gospels,

false ways of salvation, even using the Bible

they'll come up with false ways of salvation.

This passage will refute that, and it will also equip us on how to

witness to Jewish people. It's a really interesting passage. I love it. There's

actually so much more in the Bible than we realize on how to witness specifically to Jewish people, those who have the scriptures.

And so here we are. And Romans 3, verse 28.

It says, therefore, we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.

This is a big conclusion.

This is kind of where we ended last week, but this means it's not Jehovah's Witness theology, that you're justified by faith
