episode with a quote from a dear friend of mine, my dear buddy Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Emerson wrote this. To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest

accomplishment.

So Hollywood has a reputation of attracting individuals capable of portraying one version

of themselves in front of a camera and a very different version when

no one is watching. Perhaps that's why when people learn a movie was made about my life

and they hear about the actors who participated in the film, one of the most frequently asked

questions is, so what did they really like? Well, after spending months with some

well-known actors and producers and directors and leaders in the industry, my answer typically

surprises them. Let me explain more. The people we worked with on the film, on fire, were extraordinarily humble

and grateful for the little things. They were kind to others. They were excited for the work.

They were committed to the craft, and they were selfless in their lives. They were not merely

excellent actors, but these are incredible individuals.

William H. Macy, Stephanie Shostek, Devon Franklin, Macy McLean, James McCrackett, and Jill Courtney became like family during this process.

But perhaps no one revealed genuine authenticity as sincerely as the actor portraying my dad in the movie's name, John Corbett.

Beloved for his roles in Northern Exposure and Sex in the City and My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Corbett has been a fixture on television and big screen for decades.

The six-foot five-inch actor frequently plays the love interest because of his irresistible

good looks and his charisma.

In real life, though, he is married to the stunning beau Derek.
