And I don't know, we got a game apparently this week.

It's a great, it's a great question, Will.

I'm struggling. You think we do prep for this show, but we do not. We do zero prep for the interviews in the middle. We do zero prep for

the show. We just kind of fly by the seat of our pants because that's how we do things around

here. But it is the midway point of the season, Will.

Not that there is an official midway and a 17 game schedule.

I guess the midway point was the halftime speeches that the Lions coaches were giving

when they were getting their butts kicked in Houston.

But look, this team is 8- one. I imagine that they are everywhere they could

want to be right now. The offense is clicking, the defense is clicking. The special teams is

maybe the best unit of them all comparatively to the rest of the league somehow.

Is there anything that surprises you about this team at the 54.3% part of the season? Well, so technically the halfway point will be after this Sunday's game against the Jags,

when the Lions will have played 10 games because as Dan

Campbell said this week, as Dan Campbell said this week, they have 11 games left, including, of course,

three playoff games after the first round by, which brings them to 20 games total on this season,

all in Super Bowl included.

And look, he said it in passing when he was asked about Restings of Darius Smith.

And if you just clip those words, it sure sounds like he's guaranteeing a Super Bowl appearance. But it does speak to the laser focus that this team and this coaching staff has on the end goal.
