Would you turn to the book of Hebrews, please?

Hebrews 13.

We've been talking about a subject we're calling without covetousness.

And I know if you announce the seminar on that subject, you might not just have people flock and run to come to it because it doesn't

sound like something that people think they're interested in, but it's Bible. And it's very important.

And I can see a number of reasons why the Lord would lead us on this right now. And tonight,

I believe we'll be able to get into some of the why that the Lord has led us

this way we'll just see but in Hebrews 13 Hebrews 13 and verse 5 it says let your conversation be without covetousness and be content with such things as you have

for he has said how can you be content no matter what's going on in your life. Because he has said, I will never leave you nor forsake you.

Where does real contentment come from?

Real soul satisfaction cannot be achieved through things, nor money, nor professional success,

nor so-called financial security and freedom.

There is not enough money to keep you satisfied in your spirit.

There is no amount that you could get that will make you feel satisfied and content inside yourself.

You know, one guy was asking another, he just bought this $100,000 Porsche brand new.

And, I mean, this thing is, you know, it's the top of the line.

And somebody was asking me, they said, what's the best thing about getting that car?

He said, the day before I got it.

Now, why would he say that huh

it was a dream

that he knew was being fulfilled

the day before he got it
