Would you turn, please, to Hebrews the 13th chapter this evening.

Hebrews 13.

We'll continue on in a series that we've been doing for some weeks now.

Hebrews 13 and verse 5 says, let your conversation, that means your way of life let it be without covetousness

and be content with such things as you have for he has said i will never leave you nor forsake you let your

way of life the way you live your entire manner of living and being let it be without covetousness.

Everybody say that out loud.

Without covetousness.

Say it one more time.

Without covetousness.

Then he goes on to say, and be content.

With such things as you have, that's not the end of the sentence.

For, why should you be content?

For, he has said, I'll never leave you nor forsake you.

He's not saying, be content with junk, with war out stuff and broken stuff,

and be content when never having enough.

Your contentment is not going to come.

That's not reasonable.

Did you hear me?

So,

I only got these two crackers in a sardine,

but they give me contentment.
