Summary

On today's podcast - Disney hypocrisy - now the company is protesting Florida's Parental Rights in Education bill, which is heading to Gov. DeSantis' desk. This is the same Disney that filmed 'Mulan' in a city that houses a slave labor camp in China. Crickets on that, but now loud and clear about Florida. Disney's fake outrage is toward a bill that would limit discussions of sexual orientation and gender identity in schools. The company felt heat internally and its CEO, Bob Chapek, has decided to go public. So woke, again! Jerome breaks it down. Plus, another record day for gas prices across the country. What's Brandon's end game? Our guest today is Alabama Congressman Mo Brooks (R) and our caller of the day, Kim from Ohio, says her trucking company is in peril because of the price of fuel.

to make our economy, our lives, and our livelihoods work every day. I do want to start here with Disney.

For days, I guess I was a part of the reporting on the Florida bill that has now passed the House

and the Florida Senate and should be signed post-haste by my governor here, Ron DeSantis, the

2:13.9

bill that essentially bars the teaching, a teacher leading a discussion about sexuality and

2:21.8

transgenderism for young children in the grades of kindergarten through third grade.

The entertainment desk is part of this, as we discussed with David Ng earlier this week, you had some of the most powerful and affluent and influential voices in Hollywood, loudly protesting the bill and adopting the ridiculous slogan that Rhonda Santis has pushed back on and is completely destroyed that the quote-unquote don't say gay bill.

2:52.3

And in fact, the legislation doesn't even say the word gay.

And for a while, Disney CEO Bob Chapick had not bended to the left-wing campaign.

Essentially, Disney's funding arm had funded several of the Florida lawmakers behind the writing and the overall passage of this Florida bill.
