DIY Money. How was your 24-hour New York trip?

It was insane.

I think I told you, I think I told you this.

We ended up extending it.

We had three days total in that area, but the middle day we went to Connecticut.

So we had 24 hours in New York and then 24 hours in New York.

I think we walked like like if I were to guess

a million steps. Did you do any of the Taitro itinerary? If I'm being really honest, you went through

it so fast that I got lost. I had a lot of people. And I did go back and listen. I've seen the

statute of liberty before. Yeah. And that was a big chunk of yours, so we decided to mix that.

And mostly my friend planned, like, the whole trip. I was the, like, I'll show up with a backpack and hope for the best. So I felt like by the time I was, like, ready to think about it, she had a great plan. So no Staten Island Ferry. No Staten Island Ferry. Although we did see the Statue of Liberty from very far away on the Brooklyn Bridge.

Yeah.

So we saw it, kind of. Yeah, yeah. But we did the Staten Island thing when I did my New York trip with my, like, senior trip many moons ago. So I felt like for me, I was okay with not seeing it up close again well remember the

Staten Island for those listening Staten Island Ferry does not go to the Statute of Liberty

Staten Island just goes from lower Manhattan yeah yeah you see it closer yeah you see what I mean

but it's a great for those are you ever going to New York if you want an easy way to see the beautiful

skyline of lower Manhattan um and uhue of Liberty, which you do get.

The Satina and Ferry is a great free way to do that.

But did you get to the World Trade Center?

We didn't go in the World Trade Center, but we did the 9-11 Memorial and saw it.
